I want to share the heart behind Andrea Tang, the inspiration that fuels every piece I design and the essence of the brand itself.
At its core, Andrea Tang isn't shaped by trends or surroundings. It's something deeper, something that lives within every woman.
From the moment we're born, we're surrounded by judgments about how we should look. We're taught early on what is considered beautiful, and we grow up believing these ideas, often at the cost of our own self-worth.
I believe true confidence comes from comfort, ease, and authenticity, not from tight clothes or loud designs. Sexiness isn't about showing skin, and power doesn't have to come from bold silhouettes. Real strength is quiet. Real beauty is effortless. And elegance doesn't need to shout.
When you wear Andrea Tang, my hope is that you feel beautiful from the inside out.
That journey, and the emotional weight so many women carry, is my greatest inspiration.
I want to create clothing that makes women feel safe, seen, and accepted. Pieces crafted with care and intention, so that when you wear them, you feel enough.
How do I do that? I design clothes that are simple to wear, yet rich in detail. Subtle elements, refined finishes, thoughtfully chosen fabrics, and inclusive fits come together to create garments that feel effortless and flattering.
My Second Source of Inspiration: Places and People
Places and the people within them shape how we see, feel, and create. Two cities that continue to inspire me deeply are London and Paris.
London is rich and layered, a blend of nature, countryside charm, and edgy elegance. It's graceful, yet carries a rebellious spirit.
Paris, on the other hand, is defined by quiet sophistication. It is minimal, feminine, and timeless.
I bring these influences into every aspect of our design process, from the choice of fabrics to colour palettes, embroidery, and silhouettes. Each piece may appear simple at first glance, but looked at more closely, it reveals thoughtful details that quietly tell a story.
And Finally: The People Around Me
The people I meet, both men and women, constantly inspire me. While my designs are rooted in femininity, I've always been drawn to the comfort, structure, and practicality found in menswear. I study it closely, translating that same ease and functionality into pieces designed for women.
My goal is to create fashion that balances softness with strength, allowing every woman to feel confident, comfortable, and completely herself.
